• Given a well designed MPA, the resultant password can be:

  • A seemingly random string of characters
  • Very complex and hard to crack
  • Easy to construct via memory of just the algorithm and knowledge of the target authenticating system
  • Unique for each user, class of access, and system the user is authenticating to
